The American British Cowdray Medical Center (ABC Medical Center) and Methodist International recently announced a six-year affiliation agreement. With this affiliation the ABC Medical Center becomes the second member of the Methodist’s global network of affiliated hospitals, and the first one in Latin America.

As a result of this merger the ABC Medical Center, will set up an integrated quality control program that assures better service and higher safety standards in healthcare procedures and services and will readdress its organizational structure applying newer and more efficient operational strategies and programs

The ABC Medical Center is a prestigious 120-year-old health care organization, and has distinguished itself as the leading not-for-profit medical center in Mexico, dedicated to clinical health care of the highest standards with strong bases in education and research. Charity health care of the economically challenged residents in areas surrounding the two ABC facilities is a permanent mission of the organization.
