Tailored to meet the needs of busy executives and their families, this evaluation is scheduled for a single day and is usually completed within five to seven hours. The program provides you with access to primary, specialty and subspecialty medical consultations in a package designed to fit your unique needs and enhance your ongoing medical care in your country. You will also receive an exceptional level of personal attention and quality medical care from highly respected physicians and other health care providers of The Methodist Hospital.

Currently there are two types of check-ups, the international premier health assessment and the international comprehensive health assessment.

For individuals traveling from within certain cities in Mexico, Methodist offers the Mexico Travel Package - a special executive health package - which includes the premier health assessment, air, hotel and transportation to and from the airport.

Planning for your visit
Before arriving in Houston, we will send you a questionnaire that will allow us to efficiently preschedule tests that you may require. Prior to testing, we will send you a schedule of appointments to clearly outline your testing and possible specialty consultations. Our multilingual, multicultural International Services staff will be available to assist you with travel arrangements and provide all details for efficient access to our facilities. And, if needed, language interpretation can be provided before, during or after your stay.

During your stay
Upon your arrival to Methodist, you will be taken to a room in the beautiful and spacious Sue Fondren Trammel Pavilion where you can safely place your belongings, relax between testing and enjoy a delicious, heart-healthy, gourmet meal prepared by the Executive Chef. Once you have checked into your room, a Methodist associate will escort you to your first appointment. The first appointment will include a detailed history and physical examination from one of our physicians. At this time, your physician will review the results of this exam and discuss the details of your remaining schedule. Upon completion of the health assessment, your physician will meet with you to discuss the results of all available tests, to provide specific recommendations and to coordinate subspecialty referrals. Follow-up visits to consult with physician specialists or other health professionals to discuss test results are available if necessary.

After your visit
Following your health assessment, you will receive a complete written summary of your results, including copies of test results and specific recommendations. We will also be happy to forward a copy of the assessment to your local physician upon request.
