The Methodist Hospital is committed to developing educational programs that will provide health professionals with the opportunity to learn using the most advanced technology and applications in practice. These programs are designed to enhance the participants' professional experience by allowing them to interact with medical teams at Methodist.
Health care professionals:
- May observe for two weeks to one month
- Interact with other medical professionals
- Receive a well developed and organized experience to fit the needs and specialties of the applicant
- Observe procedures and attend lectures
- Will not have patient contact nor clinical application of any kind
Health organizations and teaching facilities may also benefit by collaborating with Methodist in developing programs that will benefit their health care professionals and students. The Methodist Hospital System has a long tradition of training medical professionals in various medical, surgical, and administrative specialties. The Methodist Hospital is a teaching hospital affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
