Second Opinions
Seeking a second opinion can assist in making important medical decisions and in reviewing treatment options for a patient's particular diagnosis. Methodist International's Second Opinion service can be an economical, reliable alternative to face-to-face consultation, providing international physicians and their patients with access to the expertise of The Methodist Hospital without incurring travel expenses.

Through our program, physicians or patients can submit medical records, radiology films, and/or pathology slides for review. Utilizing expert resources, state-of-the-art technology, and proven experience, your Methodist team will prepare a personalized, comprehensive report that may confirm a diagnosis, remark on the proposed treatment plan, and possibly provide additional recommendations for care.

Depending upon the complexity of the case, the cost of a second opinion ranges from $400-$900(USD) plus fees for professional services rendered, which may include radiology and pathology services. Medical referral specialists at Methodist are ready to guide you though our second opinion services.
